    DAK x Goodthing Coffee

    ABOUT THIS EVENT

We took over the filter bar at Goodthing Coffee in Palo Alto for a few hours, and it turned into exactly the kind of event we live for. No big production, no overthinking it, just good coffee going out, good people coming through, and everyone sticking around longer than they probably meant to.

We are grateful for coffee friends on the other side of the world and for such a warm welcome! We will be back!

  • Showroom Opening Party

    Showroom Opening Party

    ABOUT THIS EVENT

We are an Amsterdam-based specialty coffee roaster driven by a restless curiosity for what coffee can be. From sourcing exceptional beans to pushing the boundaries of processing and roasting, every decision we make is in pursuit of clarity, sweetness, and flavour that surprises. The showroom in Oud West is where all of that finally comes together in one place.

We invited the people who matter most, the ones who’ve followed the journey, shared the passion, and know that good coffee deserves a proper home. An evening to mark the beginning of something new with the showroom finally speaking for itself. The beginning of a new chapter, the first event of a long series.

    ABOUT THIS EVENT

We have been following MAA for years. Their work on dairy, fermentation, and texture sits next to ours on flavour, sweetness, and clarity. When they said they wanted to come over and run a soft serve pop-up out of our showroom,  we said yes before they finished the sentence.

A big thank you to Cafe Doan for the DAK x MAA coffee, a delicious cold processed natural Ethiopian made exclusively for them and they were super kind  in sharing some with us to celebrate this event.

  • DAK x ALGORITHM SYDNEY

    DAK x ALGORITHM SYDNEY

    ABOUT THIS EVENT

A big city cafe that somehow still feels like the corner spot. We took over the bar for the morning, and the thing that struck us was how the staff greeted people by name, asked about their week, remembered how they take their order. Then in the afternoon, things slowed down for a session on fermentation, walking through the different processes we use in coffee and how each one changes what ends up in the cup.

Thank you to the whole team at Algorithm for such a warm welcome.

  • BAMBAS UNLACED

    BAMBAS UNLACED

    ABOUT THIS EVENT

Born in Amsterdam, Bambas Sports Club is what happens when sport stops being about performance and starts being about people. They’ve built a community around the idea that getting moving should feel as natural and fun as it did when you were a kid: open to everyone, driven by curiosity, and always followed by something good.

We opened our doors to celebrate the Bambas Sports Club anniversary, a community built around the simple joy of movement, inclusion, and showing up for each other. A common ground for the curious and the playful, Bambas brings people together through sport the way we do through coffee: no gatekeeping, just good things shared with good people. Thanks for making us part of it.

  • DAK DAY at BEDST

    DAK DAY at BEDST

    ABOUT THIS EVENT

James had told everyone we were coming, made a full Dak Day out of it. Dak on batch, Dak on espresso, milkies and filter.. We were spoiled, felt beyond welcome. People kept coming in, the energy was great. We hosted a filter tasting followed by a fermentation workshop, we cannot wait for the next time already. Wholesome doesn’t happen by accident. Thank you for being part of it.

Thank you James and Laura for having us and making our time in Canberra special!

  • MAA x DAK: SWIRL SEASON

    MAA x DAK: SWIRL SEASON

    ABOUT THIS EVENT

Last year we invited MAA over for a taste of Seoul in Amsterdam. We didn’t expect to walk away with two friends. Jiwon and Sugyeong showed up with more than just soft serve, they brought their craft, their care for texture, and a warmth that filled the whole showroom for a week.

The smiles, the good mood, the way people lingered long after their cups were empty, we knew this couldn’t be a one-off. So they’re back. Same easy, summery vibe, a new set of flavours, and the same reason to bring your friends, grab a cup, and hang around a little longer than planned.

A big thank you to MAA for making it all the way to Amsterdam again!
