TASTE + SHOP

Our showroom sits on a quiet square in Amsterdam Oud-West. There’s a bar for drinking through the current menu, shelves with the full DAK collection, and a selection of items you’ll only find at the showroom. At the back is our private tasting room, where we do guided tastings, put coffees side by side, and take more time to see what’s going on in the cup.

THE ROUTE TO BELLAMYPLEIN

Our first showroom was inside the roastery in Amsterdam Noord, open for just a few hours a week. People came anyway, making their way out to the edge of the city to see where the coffees were roasted and drink them at the source. After eighteen months, it became clear we needed a proper space with easier access. Somewhere with the full collection in one room, objects that belong alongside the coffee, and a bar where the team could serve filter and espresso and spend a little more time with people. We opened Bellamyplein in November 2024.

Tasting Sessions

Join us at the tasting table and explore coffees from the current collection. We’ll talk about where they come from, how they were processed, and different ways to brew them. Our tastings are relaxed and small-scale, with plenty of room to ask questions, taste together, and learn a little more about coffee.

A guided tasting of a selection of the best of our current offering in a relaxed, shared environment. 90 minutes of exploring the sourcing, growing, processing and roasting of each coffee and their impact on the final cup.

Private Tasting

Join us in our Tasting Room for a 90-minute curated sensory exploration of the very best of what we have on offer. A private moment for you and yours to dive into the world of DAK coffees.

Seasonal Workshop

A few times a year, we run sessions that go further than the regular tastings: water chemistry, fermentation decoded, or an omakase-style tasting. They rotate depending on what the team is working on. Check the calendar for what’s running next.

Happenings

The showroom has a regular programme of tastings, pop-ups, and evenings with people we work with. Some are planned, some happen because an idea comes up.

We’ve had running clubs turn the space into a boiler room, an ice-cream pop-up, product launches, and plenty of other things. Some of them we still talk about.
